This helmet was picked up in Northern France by a Canadian Solider by the name of Leslie Woodcock and was in the vendors family ever since, he is believed to have been part of Operation Jubilee and fought through the entire Normandy campaign.
It is believed this helmet was picked up in the early stages of the war.
After the war, it was gifted to the family who housed him during the war whilst on leave in England.
